Elizabeth Miller McCue (Sculptor)
Elizabeth Miller McCue, a sculptor, was inspired by her childhood fascination with exploring objects. She studied at Vassar College and the Art Students League of New York, earning grants to document choreographers like Balanchine and Graham. McCue created "Haystacks in the Field" in 2000, inspired by Monet, and her bronze sculpture "Ball of Leaves" was destroyed in the 9/11 attacks. She has held solo exhibitions and participated in international shows. In 2007, she created "Face to Face, No. 2" for a commission honoring Dr. Selma Burke. Since 2011, her work has been represented by the Sculptors Guild Gallery in Brooklyn.
